Great ventilation and pockets This tent has a great airy feeling inside thanks to lots of mesh and vestibules that extend fairly far out. It's taller than most 3Ps. The pockets are excellent---way more than any tent I've ever seen. Lots of headroom with the square shape at the top.Materials and construction are topnotch. This is a rugged, totally waterproof tent.Just two problems with this tent. 1) The tent itself is tall, but the entrance is low. You have to crouch down low to enter and exit.2) Rain pools in a depression over the door. It doesn't come through the fly, but you have to shake the water off before you exit the tent. With a taller entrance this tent would be just about perfect. March 28, 2013
Leaks, Poor detail in pitching directions Pitching instructions consist of a series of pictograms. Drawings 1-5 are so-so but the 6th, and most important, has "enlarged" details which are not large enough to figure out what is intended. With nine stakes included, it is NOT obvious where they go.Possibly as a result of this, after 24 hours of drizzle I just pulled two damp 15 deg. down sleeping bags from it. Big Agnes must be rolling over in her grave. It is a comfortable & roomy tent with several handy mesh pockets ... but mine apparently leaks. If I can't get this resolved, I'll have to attempt a return. It was pitched in my backyard. After midnight an all-night drizzle fell. Not a deluge ... a drizzle. When I went back to retrieve the sleeping bags in the afternoon, their bottoms were damp. NOTE: their tops were dry. I made a footprint of woven house wrap and was using it.We are expecting some cold weather this week so I am going to leave it pitched in order to determine how it handles that. The web site I bought it from called it a "3.5" season tent ... rating it for cold but not for a heavy snow load. January 14, 2013
Fantastic! Great tent. Exactly as described. Worked well in rain. Fit myself, my wife, and our dog perfectly. September 12, 2012
A summer tent With the mesh paneling, this tent is for the summer. Will need the rainfly to keep the heat in, and for privacy. Also, the fabric pull on the zipper was sewn into the seam of the tent. Had to cut it free in order to use the zipper. The pole tension keeps the bottom from laying flat so you lose floor space. October 5, 2011
