Is there one thing you always take with you during your adventures?
My wheelchair, because it gets me to where I’m going.

How did you first get started with skiing? How old were you?
Snow skiing with friends was an annual sport starting in high school before my accident in 1985 that left me a paraplegic. Within 10 months I drove myself and my wife to Breckenridge, Colorado to ski again at age 33 and I haven’t stopped yet.

Who/What is your inspiration?
My family and friends are my inspiration. It is not in my nature to disappoint those who believe in me.

Recent Personal Highlights:

After 9 years working Special Tickets at Sugar Bowl, is my return to Alpine Meadows to once again teach adaptive skiing at Disabled Sports USA-Far West and to have the opportunity to work in the Special Tickets office at the Big House (Alpine Meadows Ski area).

Working with the Wounded Warriors Project at two events (the No Barriers Festival and Salute to America’s Heroes) helping to expand their world beyond their disabilities.
